STEP 1: INITIAL CONSULTATION
The initial consultation is free. The object will be to determine the purpose of your web site and collect as much information as possible to assist in the development of the site. Site objectives are discussed with clear design objectives agreed upon before commencing the project.
STEP 2: DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION
Your domain name is an address where Internet users can find you on the web. An example is www.yourbusiness.com.au. A unique Domain Name one must be created and registered. There are certain rules in place regarding what names you can register particularly if you want a “.com.au” name, you must be a registered business.
STEP 3: DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
I will design your site according to the brief using the materials and information provided. You will be able to view it on a daily basis by accessing the “staging” area of your web server. Once the design is finished it will be made “live” to the rest of the internet.
STEP 4: WEB HOSTING
The service provider is responsible for all technical issues relating to the actual web server (computer that hosts your website). Your website will be hosted with a company called Netregistry

• a solid reputation in the industry
• all the necessary technologies
• an excellent technical support service
Note: All ongoing fees and charges for hosting your web site are invoiced directly to your business by the service provider.
STEP 5: SEARCH ENGINE PROMOTION
Search engine placement can be crucial to the success of your web site. Your website will be optimised using to meet the search engine indexing requirements. Please note that it takes a couple of months to be placed on some of the search engines.
